Other Community Projects

In addition to our three main programs, Kids’ Voice of Indiana is launching three new programs with funding from local grants.

The Community Mobile Law Program is funded by a grant from the Indianapolis Bar Foundation.  This grant allows us to go out to local community centers in Marion County where a Kids’ Voice attorney is available to offer  free legal assistance to the public once a month in all areas of family law.

Funding  from Lilly Endowment Inc. grant  has allowed us to develop and offer two new programs as part of our Children’s Law Center of Indiana. The Parenting Coordination Clinic will provide parenting coordination services at a pro bono or modest means rate for low-income families to reduce the stress of parental conflict on children. The Guardianship Clinic will provide free non-representation assistance for families across Indiana in overcoming hurdles to obtaining necessary guardianships for children whose parents are not able to care for them due to incarceration, drug use, or other reasons. More information about these programs will be sent out soon.
